One price per service. Published for everyone.
These are the cash prices for every Clearwell client in Arizona. No questionnaire first, no quote later — this is what it costs.
Psychological assessments vary in scope, so your psychologist gives you one written price for your evaluation before any testing starts.
Using insurance? Here's how your cost is decided.
Four things set what you pay for a session:
- Your plan's rate. Your insurer and Clearwell have an agreed price for each session type. It's usually different from the cash price.
- What's left on your deductible. Until you've spent your deductible for the year, you pay the plan's rate yourself.
- Your copay or coinsurance. After the deductible, you pay either a fixed amount per session (copay) or a percentage (coinsurance).
- Your out-of-pocket maximum. Once you hit it, your plan pays the rest for the year.
Most insured clients pay between $0 and $60 per session once their deductible is met; before that, it's their plan's session rate.
Insurance we accept at launch
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, UnitedHealthcare / Optum, Aetna, Cigna / Evernorth, and TRICARE West (TriWest). We can't take AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid) yet — if that's your coverage, our support team will point you to low-cost options in Arizona rather than leave you searching.
Cancellations and no-shows
You can cancel or move a session free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts. Inside 24 hours, or if you don't show up, you're charged the full cash price of the session — your clinician set that time aside for you. You'll see this policy again, with the exact amount, when you book.
